Experimental Determination and Calculation of the Wire Drawing Force in Monolithic Dies on Straight-Line Drawing Machines

In this article, a mathematical model has been developed for calculating the energy-power parameters of drawing process in monolithic dies on straight-line machines, and its adequacy validated experimental wire laboratory automated machine. The program allows us to calculate stress, force, tensile strength yield alloy after drawing, safety factor, power. differs that it evaluate uniformity deformation over section, depending technological zone, namely, semi-angular die, coefficient friction degree deformation. To select which ensure uniform cross-section, nomogram was compiled. equations hardening during nickel NP2 are obtained. calculation (Ni 99.6) ∅1.8 mm from ∅4.94 rod is given. Experimental studies have carried out determine machine with an installed ring strain gauge force.
